Neoplasia es una banda argentina formada a fines de 1994 en la ciudad de Punta Alta, al sur de la provincia de Buenos Aires.
Bajo una influencia inicial de Thrash / Death, en 1996 la banda graba su primer demo titulado "EN EL LUGAR DE LOS RECUERDOS".
En 2002 ingresaron al estudio para grabar su primer álbum "EL PRINCIPIO DE LA DEVASTACION" y en 2006 graban su segundo álbum "GRACIAS AL ODIO".
Luego de un evolutivo trabajo compositivo, Neoplasia ingresa nuevamente al estudio para grabar su tercer álbum, "AMPUTATION SOUNDS", destinado a llegar a una audiencia internacional.
A lo largo de los años, tras diferentes cambios en la formación, adoptaron un sonido propio, inclinándose finalmente hacia el Death Metal Técnico.
Durante su historia, Neoplasia ha compartido escenarios con diversas bandas en todo el país, deseando expandir su sonido más allá de Argentina.
Recientemente, la banda finalizó la grabación de su cuarto álbum llamado "STIRRING CLOTS", con el músico sesionista Marco Pitruzzella, en la batería y Joe Cincotta en la masterización.

Neoplasia is a argentinian band was formed at the end of 1994 in Punta Alta city, south of the of Buenos Aires province. Under an Thrash / Death initial influence, in 1996 the band records its first demo titled "EN EL LUGAR DE LOS RECUERDOS". In 2002 they entered the studio to record their first album "EL PRINCIPIO DE LA DEVASTACION" and in 2006 they recorded their second album "GRACIAS AL ODIO". After an evolving compositional work, Neoplasia enters the studio again to record its last album "AMPUTATION SOUNDS", destined to reach an international audience.
Throughout the years, after different changes in the line up, they adopted their own sound, finally entering a Technical Brutal Death style.  During its history, Neoplasia has shared stages with diverse bands throughout the country, wishing to expand its sound beyond Argentina. The band recently finished recording their fourth Full-length called STIRRING CLOTS, with Marco Pitruzzella on drums, as session musician and Joe Cincotta on mastering.
